The 2026 Naturescapes Photography Contest began accepting entries on March 30. The contest is now in its 22nd year. It was initially limited to photographs taken within San Marcos and its greenbelt areas but later expanded to include all of Hays County. It now includes the surrounding counties: Blanco, Comal, Guadalupe, Caldwell, and Travis. This was only possible because of your support and participation.
I am pleased to announce Martha Gibson is serving as our juror for the 2026 contest. Martha lives in Wimberley and is deeply involved in the arts community there. She is currently serving as Gallery Operations Director of the Wimberley Valley Art League.
The 2026 Naturescapes promotional postcard features Mike Zarella's 2025 Award of Excellence winner, "A Mother's Kiss.”
Please share this information with your friends, family, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, Scouts, 4H groups, and homeschool groups.
